Padraig…How Do You Spell Choke WHere You Come From?

On Sunday in the final round of the Bridgestone, The two best players in the world, Tiger Woods and Padraig Harrington were going back and forth in a heated battle for the Worlg Golf Championship at Firestone Country Club. To start the final round Tiger came out shooting with an eagle on number two and two more birdies in the first five holes, the tournament looked like he would run away with it. But he came back down to earth and they were neck and neck going into the 16th hole. Both struggled off the tee and put it in the rough, forcing them to lay up to the 630 yard par 5. Tiger left himself with a pretty long shot while Harrington had a wedge for his third shot towards the green. Tiger lined up, took a deep breath and stuck the shot to about 6 inches away from the hole. Harrington on the other hand, clocked his wedge over the green. With the pressure on because of Tiger’s shot and the time limit they were playing under, Harrington rushed his pitch shot and made one of the worst choke-job shits i have seen in my time watching golf.

I have always believed that the so called Tiger pressure has been vastly overrated but today i eat my words. Harrington choked as Tiger hit an amazing shot. Nothing else can be said, Padraig, the second best player in the world, collapsed like a house of cards. Tiger’s ability did the intimidating yesterday.
